How can I buy on VPSimple.com?

It's possible to buy with your credit card Mastercard or Visa, in total security.
It's also available a rechargeable CREDITS system. You can charge your credits with:
• Bank Transfer
• Coupon (private code received by email)
• Card (charge directly with your credit card)

The system will automatically try to buy first with your Credits and the it will verify the presence of a credit card associated with the account. It works both for purchasing and automatical renewing

Do you have a control panel?

There is a web interface that allows the execution of operations on each VPS. Also you can freely install additional packages on your VPS at any time.

We also offer some linux distributions with a web based control panel already installed. In particular you can choose between cPanel, WebMin or ISPConfig 3

How much does a VPS cost?

The price of a single VPS varies depending on its characteristics. There are also additional services that can be purchased later if needed. A VPS is active for the duration of the plan you have purchased; you can choose to manage automatically the renewal of all services. You can change the type of your plan at any time by following the instructions in the Management Portal.
You may start/stop services like Firewall, Monitoring, etc. at any time. After first usage, you will pay for the service until the end of your contract duration. Your chosen services will remain associated to the VPS till the next renewal. You can cease services by stopping them and maintaining this status before the next auto-renewing process.
The auto-renewing process runs every time a VPS expires based on its time plan (daily, weekly, monthly or yearly). It will charge your credit card with the cost of your VPS and all the services that are ON before the expiration time. You can block the auto-renewing process at any time by switching it OFF in the Management Portal
All your services will be blocked if the system finds a VPS without the auto-renew ON or if it can't charge your credit card or you had deleted your credit card from the VPSimple system.
The system will notify you prior to blocking your services and you will receive additional time to change your preferences. Additional time you receive depends on your time plan, according to the following policy:

1 day VPS: 3 additional days
1 week VPS: 7 additional days
1 month VPS: 15 additional days
1 year: 60 additional days

If the VPS remains blocked after the additional time, it will be deleted. As a result you will loose all the data stored on it as well as your configurations and associated services.
Monthly billings are available in the Account Section, where you can set and change your personal billing data and download a copy of invoices.

Do you offer a SLA?

The Outsourcing service offered by VPSimple is guaranteed in its components according to the following percentages of service, calculated on an annual basis:
- Accessibility of Server VPSimple equal to 99.80%.
- Availability of services VPSimple environment equal to 99.90%.
- Taking charge of problems from the customer support: immediate
- Intervention Services VPSimple within a maximum time of 1 hour work
- Intervention on the Server in the server farm within a maximum time of 2 hours

Do you offer backups?

Yes, first of all, we use RAID5 disks, that provides reliability and protection from failures of the disks themselves. Backup is one of our additional services. As soon as it is available, you will have possibility to enable it, disable and set up at your own discretion in total freedom.

Can I purchase additional space or bandwidth?

Our plans do not include additional space but, as mentioned above, we will offer the possibility of downsizing the entire VPS. We do not impose any limitations on usable bandwidth.

Where are your data centers?

All services are provided by our Data Center at Telecom Italia in Turin, Via Issiglio 90.

How is the CPU job scheduled?

This depends on the size of individual VPS purchased by customers. Each machine has a fixed limit of resources.
A fixed RAM size (256, 512 and 1024 megabytes) is allocated for each VPS.
So, a VPS with 1024 megabytes of RAM will perform 4 time more cycles than one with 256 megabytes.
The processor mounted on the server is a Xeon 4 Core with Hyper-threading and a frequences of 2,53 Ghz.
The percentage of processor used depends on the size of VPS.
For example for a VPS with 256 MB of Ram is used 1/12 of the processor, then 1/3 of core, with Hyper-threading However, if there are any free cycles on the machine, all the VPS may consume CPU time.
This allows small VPS to consume cycles they need while protecting major VPS that require extra load.

Is it possible to modify a VPS once created?

The VPS may be resized and rebuilt at any time. With the Resize function it is possible to change RAM size and hard disk driven capacity without any data loss. With the Rebuild function the VPS can be completely rebuilt, possibly with a new size and a new operating system.
These functions are now disabled, but they will be available as soon as possible

Is it possible to access the console?

Yes. Access is offered through a web terminal written with Ajax technology.

How many domains can I host?

There is no limit to the number of domains that a user can host on his VPS.

Do you host DNS?

Our administrative web interface includes a DNS section in which you will manage your domains, records and Reverse DNS for the VPS you have purchased.
